Sabre Travel Network will introduce the world's first B2B App Centre for travel agents this November. The new app store called 'Sabre Red App Centre,' will revolutionize travel technology and greatly benefit travel agents, according to Greg Webb, president – Sabre Travel Network.
The 'Sabre Red App Centre' will be an online market place, where travel agents will be able to download apps supporting their efforts to meet travellers' expectations. Some of the apps will be free to download, while others will need to be paid for. The Sabre Red App Centre will connect into the Sabre Red Workspace letting travel agents create their own customised workspace. Using the apps travel agents will be able to automate agency tasks, manage travel reservations, offer destination tips to travellers and furnish them with restaurant and spa reviews. Travel agents will also gain revenue opportunities through restaurant reservation apps and excursion or trip apps. These apps will have the ability to be easily integrated with social media channels.
